Broadway Colt Inn Casino and Restaurant in Battle Mountain

We haven't been here in a long time. Due to being treated very rudely by an old woman who was working on the gaming and of the casino... we stayed away for a very long time. But, being that my mother-in-law loves to gamble here, we thought we would give it another try after seeing it was a different old woman working this time. I guess we didn't learn our lesson.. this old lady, Naomi, was just as rude as the other woman. She yelled at us infront of other people, after we asked her a simple question that she failed to answer or ackowledge that she had heard the first time. This place is a HOMOPHOBIC ESTABLISHMENT!! I sure learned my lesson this time, although we love to gamble, we will not ever return to this place!! And I suggest if you are LGBTQ, you stay far away from the Colt. You will not be treated like a human being... instead go down to the Owl Club. You will be treated nicely there instead.

Service is wonderful food is good and plentiful.

Great food, drinks and people. No complaints really. Park at Flying J whi h is also right next to Colt Casino. When playing they have items from restaurant menu at less than half the price !!!!

Great food. Had the shrimp and sausage spicy Alfredo and then a cherry pie and i can't wait to get back for more. It was delicious. New, clean, place too. Quiet and friendly.

The bartender Amy is the reason I will come back. She is very sweet and provides great service.

The large cement pad they poured outside came out perfect. You should see it! It's big and cement, and just so darned structural. One of the top 3 attractions to see along I-80 in Nevada.

Very attentive staff today

Had a late lunch. We both had the open face turkey sandwich. Real roasted turkey juicy and delicious. Husband had mashed potatoes that were fantastic and gravy was really good. I had steamed veggies and they are what they are anywhere. Service great. The only reason four stars was I felt they were pretty skimpy with the turkey. I'm not a big eater and it was hardly enough for me. We will be back for sure.

Very clean. Great service provided by Marisella. Hubby & I both had breakfast. Coffee is good & not watered down like most other truck stops. My ham & cheese omelet "skinny side" portion was generous. Have "The Logger" breakfast skillet if you are very hungry...it's a huge portion & hubby said it was good. The only reason we gave it a 4 star rating is because of cigarette smoke from the casino. It's a small place with no doors between the casino & restaurant to filter the smoke. The smoke wasn't bad in the restaurant, but you have to walk through the casino/smoke to use the restroom.

Sheperd's Pie had no crust, or sauce. The 12$ price was not worth the tasteless entree. Service was friendly enough. Come for the steak, or don't come.

Stopped for a late meal after the stock car race. Waitress service is great. Took over 45 minutes to get food, only 3 tables occupied. This is the 2nd time in a month, last time we walked out after waiting for over an hour. It seems to be whenever a certain cook is on.

I had a new york steak medium and i have to say it was perfect french fries nice and crisp and golden salad was perfect

Food is good. The various burger choices are tasty. They offer hashbrowns as a dinner side! Sorry, I am a sucker for hashbrowns. Service is efficient. A similar casino restaurant down the road gets more customers. I've been there. Not sure why this is the case. Colt Casino and restaurant is a better place.

Nice facility, good service, good food, and easy to find

After a long drive down from Oregon on March 5th 2020, we stopped by to get a bite to eat. The server was amazing, joyful, kind, funny and helpful. The cook did a great job at making us amazing food. I had a turkey sandwich with country style gravy, mashed potatoes and real cranberry sauce; that was delicious! My husband had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with fries. My son had a huge pancake, eggs and two beef patties with hash browns. The service was supreme! Got to talk to the server who was lovely and super kind. We left with our tummy’s full and happy to have had an extraordinary service. Thank you!

Stopped in the middle of the night to get a meal here. Service was good, food wasn't bad at all. Had breakfast and it was really quiet, but overall, if you're hungry, this place is clean decent food.

I ate at the restaurant based on a rave review from a friend. It is well worth the stop, cheap and delicious in an old school diner setting. My waitress even sang along to the classic oldies!

I loved my visit here. The people were so friendly and helpful and I won on the games. The bathrooms were so clean and smelled clean. I would recommend it!

Small casino but well worth the stop..connected restaurant was excellent and staff were friendly.

The food it is what it is. The casino is not a good thing for you're pockets. No payouts and many upset drivers storming out after losing. You get nothing for you're buck here. But the ladies that run the place are really sweet and helpful and if they say you shouldn't play here listen to them. So I left before I lost my money and just hung around watching people lose there paychecks to this establishment.

Thus establishment. Its constantly not clean. The wait staff needs an attitude adjustment. And the food constantly needs to be sent back. Over years of experience. Had hope for change. No such luck. If you stop here be extra nice or you'll find something in your food.

Love it here. Casino staff is amazing and so so nice. Food is really good as well. Staff is always nice.

This is the real deal guys. I used to know how to cook steaks, been a while since I was able to cook one right. But believe me, I can eat them. This place is the first place in my 5 years since I got a CDL that can acculy cook it. Prices are right too. (Well my porterhouse was a bit high but that is the cut) Get in here and get it right. They just made a return customer here.

Stayed over 4 hours and ended up winning!! Great Time!

The restaurant is awesome...affordable, great food, excellent service, very clean.... the employees in the small casino area are very friendly and helpful. we will stop by here again!

If you are in Battle Mountain EAT THERE AT COLT..they have excellent quality food thats hot and made with care ..taste like your grandmother cooked it ..had a WONDERFUL WAITRESS NAMED JOY ..she was very tentative to the table, our food and drinks. That girls personality and demeanor was why we left her a good tip. If you get this waitress you are in luck. While here eating she waited every table on her own and still was on top of her job. I recommend the food the bathroom was spotless and smelled great. Restaurant is clean and the waitress made our day. Thanks Colt for the experience .. from Modesto CA to Battle Mountain. I will be back soon.

Good food at a newer restaurant for battle mountain. Has a lite servings menu as well for smaller portions and prices. Only went to the restaurant, not the casino.

Worst food and service. $50 for soup and sandwich, spaghetti, a salad, and corndog.Served 2 people before us that came in well after we did. Gave my daughters corn dog to the other people who came in 12m after we did. It was an honest mistake by the new waitress but damn.

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Well worth the money.

I had dinner the night before and breakfast this morning. Both were very good.Pork Prime Rib Steak:Pork was very juicy and moist. Mashed potatoes with the sausage gravy were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had, period. Garlic bread was very good, very fresh and soft.Logger Platter:Biscuits along with bacon, ham, sausage, 2 eggs, and hash browns covered in country gravy and cheese. Bacon and ham were cooked just right. Sausage doesn't isn't over powered in that heartburn seasoning to it.I will definitely be stopping here next time I am through the area. Doesn't wreak of smoke despite no barrier with the casino.

I'm from outta town doing some landscaping in the area. I walked in to have just a cpl of beers and go to bed. As I looked around I noticed that the bar and tables were clean. (Unlike others places in town). The ashtrays were empty and there wasn't any wet rags on the bar. (Very common to see this) I was impressed with Lori. Her character, sense of humor, demeanor with bar and casino goers, and regulars was outstanding. She not only held friendly conversations but stayed busy the whole time (with a smile)as a professional should. I give her an A+!!! I've worked in the bar,restuarant, hotel and casino businesses for most of my life, starting as a dish washer and working my way up to management in California, Washington, Idaho and even Las Vegas and I can tell you from my experience that she is a great asset to your establishment and you would be a fool not to keep her around. She is the reason that I'm giving a 5 star rating. Thx lori, keep up the great work!!

I don't understand all these mixed and bad reviews. Our server was real nice and the place was clean and I didn't even notice a cigarette smell till we walked through the casino. The food was delicious and large portions.

Maybe the supervisor should leave the serving of the customers to the waitresses. Had to wait longer for our food because the supervisor gave my husbands food to her friend.Food was good other than that.

Good food, good ice tea, clean, comfortable booths, our waitress tonight March 22, 2019 needed help. She was running her butt off...bad management
